Résumé : Steve Peterson lost his young wife strangled by a stranger in their Connecticut home. All the testimonies, in particular that of Neil, their little boy, who was present during the assassination of his mother, overwhelm Ronald Thompson who was condemned to the electric chair. The latter, however, continues to proclaim his innocence. A few hours before the execution of Ronald Thompson, the child is kidnapped with a young journalist friend of his father, by a lunatic who calls himself Fox. He sequesters them in the central station of New York. The kidnapper threatens to detonate a bomb at the precise moment when the convict will be executed.
